Nina Jan (1986) is a multimedia artist, producer, curator and alumna of the Master of Film programme (Netherlands Film Academy, Amsterdam).

For the last 10 years, Jan has been focusing on three main themes - authorship, working and living conditions and the value of art - which can be traced throughout her artistic practice. Most of Nina's projects use more than one artistic medium. Her audience quickly notices that her works are not just what they appear to be at first glance, and that they always move at the intersection of reality and fiction, absurdity and common sense.

She is also characterised by a special relationship with the audience, gently guiding the audience through various socio-political issues in a playful and humorous way.

Nina's work has been shown in Slovenia and abroad, including at festivals and venues such as: Eye Film Institute (NL), de Appel Art Centre (NL), Frascati (NL), de Slang (NL), Plantage Doklaan (NL), de Punt (NL), Nederlandse Filmacademie (NL), International Festival Mladi Levi (SI), Festival Cinedans (NL), Plesni Teater Ljubljana (SI), CUK Kino Šiška (SI), HAU (DE), CBK 's-Hertogenbosch (NL), Theater DE NWE Vorst Tilburg (NL), Le Maga (BE), Filodrammatica (HR), Drugo More (HR), Muelle3 (ES), L'Estruch Fàbrica de Creació (ES).
