Collected Tales of Mi(s)s(ed)Fortune is a performative proposal by artist Nina Jan, which includes an atypical book presentation. Through an exciting role reversal, the artist takes the audience through an improvised debate revolving around the different realities of the artist's life.

In the course of the performance, the artist gives up her identity and becomes a mirror in which different versions of herself come to life, stopped by random people from the audience. How do they find themselves in their new role? Where are the limits of the fictional in the process of performance? Poetry acts as an alibi that helps to address certain uncomfortable questions about the conditions of the artist's work and life.
